Shipping Templates: How to set shipping rates and speeds

About Shipping Rate Templates on Gumliz

Shipping rate templates are collections of shipping settings that sellers can configure. Gumliz allows sellers to create and apply different shipping templates to match their logistics capabilities and business strategy.

You can access and manage your templates from the My Personal Information section in your seller account by selecting My Shipping Rates.

Default Shipping Template

Your default shipping template is automatically applied to all products unless a custom template is assigned. If you need assistance updating your shipping settings, our support team is here to help — reach us at [email protected].

Types of Shipping Rate Structures

By Item Count

Example:

• Base fee: $4

• +$3 per item (1–10 items)

• +$2 per item (11+ items)
  → A 7-item order = $4 + (7 × $3) = $25

By Order Value

• Orders under $15: $5 shipping

• Orders over $15: $3 shipping

By Weight

You may choose kilograms, grams, pounds, or ounces.

• Up to 2 kg: $2 per kg

• Above 2 kg: $1 per kg

Flat Rate

One fixed rate regardless of quantity or value:

• Standard Shipping: $5

• Expedited Shipping: $7

Shipping Zones

You can apply different rates for the following zones:

• Domestic: Your store’s registered country

• International: All other countries not assigned to a specific zone

• Custom Zones: Group countries (e.g., “EU” or “Asia”) for unified rates

Each country can only belong to one shipping zone in a given template.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Timeframes

Gumliz currently supports two shipping options:

• Standard Shipping: 5–10 business days

• Expedited Shipping: 5–7 business days

📦 Note: Gumliz does not deliver to military zones, restricted areas, or any destinations that cannot be serviced by our shipping partners.
