We started in 2022 as three college students in California, frustrated with expensive textbooks and the often cluttered feel of the used book market.
We had no funding or connections, just a simple idea and a belief that books deserved a better space. So we pooled our savings and rented a small, quiet bookstore near campus. It became Gumliz’s office, packing station, meeting place, and first physical home.
No ebooks. No sketchy listings. No corporate frills. Just real people, real books, and a marketplace built on trust.
