DMCA Policy – GumLiz

1. Purpose

GumLiz is an online marketplace that connects buyers with independent sellers. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This DMCA Policy outlines our procedures for reporting claims of copyright infringement and how we respond to those claims.​

2. Reporting Copyright Infringements

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used on GumLiz in a way that constitutes infringement, please submit a written notice to our designated agent, which must include the following information:​

• Accuracy Statement: A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.​

3. Response to Infringement Notices

Upon receiving a valid notice of infringement, GumLiz will investigate the claim and may remove or disable access to the infringing material. We will inform the user who posted the content about the removal and provide them with a copy of the notice.​

4. Counter-Notices

If you believe that your material has been removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice should include:​

• Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the subscriber.​

• Identification of Material: Identification of the material that has been removed and its location before removal.​

• Good Faith Statement: A statement made under penalty of perjury that the subscriber has a good faith belief that the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.​

• Jurisdiction Statement: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if outside the United States, to the jurisdiction of the courts in which GumLiz is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of infringement.​

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

GumLiz reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.​

6. Modifications

GumLiz may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. We encourage users to review this policy periodically for any changes.
