How to complete a seller application

Become a Seller on GumLiz

At GumLiz, we welcome sellers who share our passion for books, music, and independent publishing. Whether you’re a small independent seller or managing a large online inventory, we’re here to support your growth with tools that are simple, flexible, and effective.

To apply for a seller account, please gather the required documents and information listed below and email them to our onboarding team at [email protected].


🔹 1. Seller Profile

We require the following basic details:

  • Your full business name

  • Primary business address

  • Return address (if different)

  • Primary contact number

  • Active email address

  • Promo code (if applicable)


🔹 2. Sales & Shipping Terms (Optional but Recommended)

Please include:

  • Your general sales terms

  • Return/refund policy

  • Shipping timeframes and any regional restrictions

These will be shown to buyers on your GumLiz storefront.


🔹 3. Business Identification

GumLiz operates under U.S. law. We require all sellers to submit:

  • Country of residence

  • Business type (e.g. Individual/Sole Proprietor, LLC, Corporation, Non-Profit)

  • Legal representative’s full name, date of birth, and government-issued ID

  • Tax ID (SSN or EIN)

Depending on your business type, you may be asked to submit proof of registration or licensing.


🔹 4. Taxpayer Identification

To remain compliant with U.S. tax regulations:

  • U.S.-based sellers must complete and submit IRS Form W-9

  • Non-U.S. sellers who receive U.S. funds or list with a U.S. address must complete Form W-8BEN

If you are unsure which form applies to you, please consult a qualified tax advisor before submitting.


🔹 5. Banking Information

Sellers are paid via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) on a weekly basis. Please include:

  • Bank name

  • Routing number

  • Account number
    This information is stored securely and encrypted for your protection.


🔹 6. Credit Card Information

You must provide a valid credit or debit card.
→ This card will be used to charge your monthly subscription fee (if your sales do not fully cover it).


🔹 7. Agreement & Consent

Please confirm that you have read and agree to:

  • GumLiz Seller Terms & Conditions

  • GumLiz Payment & Fee Policies
    Once we receive your full application, our registration team will review your documents. If anything is missing, we’ll contact you by email. Upon approval, you’ll receive a Welcome Kit and your seller account will be activated.
