1. Overview

Gumliz.com (“Gumliz”) is a U.S.-based online marketplace connecting buyers with independent book sellers. All items listed on Gumliz are fulfilled and shipped by third-party sellers. This Shipping Policy applies exclusively to orders shipped within the United States and outlines the standard delivery methods, timelines, and related buyer and seller responsibilities.

2. Order Processing

Most sellers are expected to ship orders within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Buyers will receive an email notification once the order has been marked as shipped. Orders placed on weekends or U.S. public holidays may be processed on the next business day.

3. Shipping Availability

Shipping services offered on Gumliz are limited to the 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. Sellers may choose to exclude PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or U.S. territories at their discretion. Buyers should verify shipping availability before placing an order.

4. Default Shipping Methods & Delivery Estimates

All sellers are required to offer at least one of the following default shipping methods. These service levels establish baseline expectations across the marketplace. Sellers may offer additional options as long as they are clearly disclosed during checkout.

5. Tracking & Delivery
  • When tracking is available, the seller will provide a tracking number, which will be shared with the buyer via email.
  • Tracking updates may take up to 5–7 business days to appear after shipment.
  • If no update is visible within 10 business days, buyers should contact the seller directly. If unresolved, buyers may escalate the issue to [email protected].
6. Failed Deliveries & Returns

If a shipment is returned to sender due to incorrect address, buyer unavailability, or failure to collect the package:

  • Buyers may be charged for re-shipping.
  • In certain cases, sellers may offer a partial refund, excluding original shipping costs.
7. Delays & Exceptions

Delivery delays may occur due to:

  • Severe weather or natural disasters
  • National holidays or courier backlogs
  • Incorrect shipping address entered by the buyer
  • Force majeure events beyond seller or platform control
